Exciting News!!
HBO is teaming up with Alan Ball to develop a new show based on the SOUTHERN VAMPIRE series by Charlaine Harris.

The show will be set in a world where vampires and humans co-exist after the development of synthetic blood. In the first book of the series, a waitress in rural Louisiana meets the man of her dreams only to find out he's a vampire with a bad reputation.

Ball will write, direct and executive produce the pilot.
